Mathian Vali, CFA

Mathian is a Credit Research Analyst for Bel Air’s fixed income strategy. Prior to joining Bel Air Investment Advisors LLC in 2018, Mathian was a Fixed Income Research Associate at Fidelity Investments. Before Fidelity, Mathian was a Summer Financial Analyst at Moore Europe Capital Management on its high yield credit desk. Mathian entered the investment industry in 2012. He has provided insightful commentary for financial publications, such as The Bond Buyer.

Mathian graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics. He completed the General Course at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Mathian enjoys playing tennis in his free time.
