Barnaby assists the team in quantitative and qualitative analysis of fund investments. Since joining the team in 2014, he has worked on implementing and managing investments across equities, fixed income, and alternatives. He specializes in leveraging data analysis tools to improve the risk management and reporting of the Bel Air platform, asset allocation process, and collection of market data. He also focuses on the development of Bel Air’s investments in Impact Investing. Prior to joining Bel Air, Barnaby  was a Director of The Charles R. Blyth Fund, Occidental College’s student-run investment portfolio, where he helped manage the six-figure fund. His activities varied from asset allocation to stock selection during his tenure. Furthermore, he served as a liaison between fund alumni and his peers. Barnaby attained his BA in Economics at Occidental College after moving from London, England. His other academic interests include behavioral finance and its application to investment strategy. He is an avid rugby fan/player and is a mentor for Play Rugby USA, a non-profit focused on developing youth through rugby.
